Comparison between Machine Translation and Human Translation: A Case Study of A North Wind
机器翻译与人工翻译的比较——以《北风》为例

摘要

近年来，随着翻译市场的发展和翻译技术的进步，机器翻译系统相继研发出来并广泛应用于各个领域。目前存在的三种翻译模式：人工翻译模式、机器翻译模式、机器翻译+人工翻译，即译后编辑模式。三种翻译模式各有优缺点，本篇论文主要从机器翻译、人工翻译、译后编辑的概念出发，结合科幻小说《北风》的文本特点及其译文，从词、句、语篇三方面分析了机翻译文的优缺点，分享了译者的译后编辑过程，阐述了译后编辑的必要性。

Abstract

In recent years, with the development of translation market and translation technology, machine translation systems have been developed and widely used in various fields. At present, there are three translation modes: human translation mode, machine translation mode, machine translation + human translation, or post-editing mode. Each have advantages and disadvantages of three kinds of translation model, this paper mainly from the concept of machine translation, human translation,and post-editing, combining with the characteristics of science fiction A north wind of the text and its translation, from the aspects of word, sentence, discourse three analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of machine translation, Shared editing process after the translation of the translator, this paper expounds the necessity of post-editing.
